Clovis Christian Schools has been an exemplar of pre-k through 12th grade education in Clovis and surrounding areas for the past 30 years. Established in 1994, CCS has risen through the ranks and is now ranked the #2 Private School in the state of New Mexico (Niche.com). CCS’s 3-year old and 4-year old preschool program is the only five-star rated Pre-K program in Clovis. In Kindergarten through fifth grade, a focus on number literacy to supplement mathematics instruction ensures students are algebra and geometry ready.

Clovis Christian’s Secondary program serves sixth through eighth grade students and includes interactive writing and a balanced literacy framework as well as STEM and Bible classes. Core learning in both Elementary and Secondary includes Science, Mathematics, Social Studies/History, Language Arts and Bible. These courses are taught along with daily enrichment possibilities, including technology integration, Art,
Library, Music, PE, Athletics, Photography and various others! Clovis Christian also offers various after school programs and clubs to include Esports, Martial Arts, theater, and other student-led initiatives. Additionally, all students in grades pre-k through grade 8 engage in ongoing Istation reading and math computer initiatives. These accountability measures allow us to support and gauge student’s continual growth in
reading and math. Also notable, CCS consistently outperforms the state’s reading and math proficiency percentage levels by at least 30% from year to year.

Clovis Christian High School equips each student for successful entry into their collegiate path, trade school or entrepreneurial career. History, Government, Economics, English, and Bible as well as high level Mathematics and Science courses challenge students to master rigorous standards of learning. Electives offered at CCS may include Technology, Photography, Math Tutoring, Service Opportunities, Yearbook/Journalism, Weight Training, Art, Physical Ed, and multiple NMAA Athletics/Sports Teams. CCS Students are encouraged to get a head start on their higher education goals by taking dual-credit classes during their Junior and Senior years through partnerships with Clovis Community College and Eastern New Mexico University.

CCS is a non-profit, interdenominational educational institution dually accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and Cognia. CCS is licensed by the State of New Mexico and awards the same high school diploma to its graduates as New Mexico public and charter schools.

Clovis Christian Schools is an interdenominational institution of education. It provides a complete learning spectrum of Pre-Kindergarten through Grade Twelve supported and nurtured by a Corporate Board that represents several churches in the local community. Our purpose is to assist parents in helping their children grow mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially (Luke 2:52) and to encourage each student to follow Jesus In service to God (Romans 12:1-2). This school exists to provide a quality, values-oriented education in a genuine Christian environment.
