Clovis Christian Schools is jointly accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and AdvancED (www.advanc-ed.org). It is a rigorous process that requires CCS to meet 11 standards, including a continuous improvement standard. We commit to providing rigorous core academic classes and challenging electives. CCS is not a textbook-driven school. Instead, we follow the Virginia Standards of Learning. They reflect rigor and cultivate analytical thinking. All instructional materials are selected with the purpose implementing our challenging student learning.
No doubt our students will leave CCS capable of navigating the complex problems of today. Whether your student is beginning their education journey in Pre-K or ending it as a senior in high school, we are committed to preparing your student for a lifetime of academic success.
Our exceptional instruction begins with the youngest among us. CCS provides an exemplary early childhood and grammar school program. We are the only 5-Star rated Pre-K program in eastern New Mexico.
In grades K-5th, our students hone their skills in Math, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, and Bible. They learn about the world from a Christian, biblical worldview.
We give our students the best instructional care possible. Our middle school students, 6th-8th grade, encounter classes that build on their foundations of math, science, language arts, writing and reading.
In high school, grades 9-12, our students are further challenged to think critically about the purpose and pursuit of learning, about the application of their lessons, and about their specific gifts and aspirations.
Our students are uniquely prepared for life with a 100% high school graduation rate. Additionally, CCS ensures 100% of our seniors will receive at least one college scholarship. We have a four-year average of 71% of our students enrolling in a college or university after graduating from CCS. We understand that college is the next step for most of our students. This is why we are committed to preparing our students for post-secondary education.
Many of our students begin their college journey before they graduate high school. This occurs via dual/concurrent enrollment. CCS partners with Eastern New Mexico University and Clovis Community College. We offer our students online and in-class college and university courses. These give them a head start on their higher education goals. We require all sophomore students to take the Accuplacer. This is a college readiness exam. We do this in preparation for any concurrent enrollment classes they would like to take in the future.
